| Making
an unusual and interesting aquatic curiosity, freshwater crustaceans add
colour and can serve a purpose in any home aquarium. They spend most their
time scurrying across the substrate scavenging for food, cleaning up all
of the detritus that hits the bottom. Some even eat algae. With all the
species available, there's a decapod to suit almost any aquarium set-up.
